概要
Descriptions
Fincantieri, Monfalconeにて建造されたVenezia Class (Carnival Vista Class)とも呼ばれる133,500トン型クルーズ客船。このクラスのフリートには Carnival Vista (2016), Carnival Horizon (2018), Costa Venezia (2019), Costa Firenze (2020), Carnival Panorama (2019)がある。
2023年11月，太平洋岸のアラスカクルーズに就航していたカーニバルパノラマにて推進機構の問題が生じたため，オレゴン州ポートランドの造船所(Vigor Industrial LLC.)にて修理をすることになったが，ポートランドに向かうためにコロンビア川を95マイル遡上する必要があり，この際に通過する橋のクリアランスを確保するため，船高を下げる必要が生じた。このため，カナダのビクトリア港(Ogden Point)および，Victoria shipyardにて，ファンネルの一部を切断し船高を下げる工事を実施。船は，ビクトリアでの工事後，ポートランドに向かい推進機構の修理を行い，その後ビクトリアに戻ってファンネルの再設置を行うという異例の措置が取られた。
